Week ten's Overnight Sensation: Buddy Johnson, Linebacker
A&M's defense completely shut down the running game against Auburn, holding the Tigers to just 19 yards on the ground. A big part of that effort was sophomore linebacker Buddy Johnson, earning him this week's Overnight Sensation.
Olin’s thoughts on Johnson's performance against Auburn:
All of his plays seemed to take place early, but he came out and played well. He helped set that tone and prevent Auburn from running the football. He’s a big physical dude with good speed. I keep hearing about the concern at linebacker, but you look at next year when you have a healthy Hines, Dodson, and now Johnson? I think they're going to be ok.
