COLLEGE STATION — One too many.
Perhaps that will be the way history remembers the 2011 Texas A&M football season, as it will the final (for now) Lone Star Showdown. One turnover too many. One drop too many. One missed opportunity too many.
One defensive lapse too many.
Anticipation reached what felt like an all-time high in Aggieland on Thursday, with tailgates littering every available corner of campus, seats in Kyle filling early and the 12th Man standing on edge long before kickoff.
