Texas A&M's Saturday contest versus Florida postponed
Texas A&M’s scheduled men’s basketball game against Florida on Saturday has been postponed because of COVID-related issues.
No make-up date has been set.
The Texas A&M Sports Information Department on Thursday issued a release that read:
Saturday’s contest between Texas A&M men’s basketball and Florida has been postponed due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Texas A&M program, consistent with Southeastern Conference COVID-19 management requirements.
That will be the fourth consecutive A&M basketball game to be postponed.
The Aggies previously had games against Vanderbilt on February 3, Arkansas on February 6, and Georgia on February 10 postponed. The Aggies also had a January 20 game against Vanderbilt postponed.
A&M (8-7) has not played since January 30 when the Aggies defeated Kansas State, 68-61.
