QB Zach Calzada: Although the sophomore had some tough moments, he showed progress in last week’s 26-22 loss to Mississippi State. He only completed 12 of 20 passes for 135 yards, but threw a touchdown pass and ran 25 yards for another score. His only interception was actually a good throw that bounced off the intended receiver. The 60 percent completion rate was Calzada’s highest of the season. He’s now completing 53.
