• I loved Jimbo's presser. If you're an Aggie, that's exactly what you wanted to hear. The grass is greener at A&M from the administration to the facilities... this is what Jimbo wants. Most coaches don't have the luxuries that Jimbo has. 
   
• There are probably four or five coaches that can stand up and say they have everything they want from their football programs. He made relevant points, and you don't hear that from other coaches because most of them can't say what he did. 
   
• Mel Tucker is at the top of the list for LSU. I think Michigan State has a soft 7-0 record. I think it's about how the Spartans finish. This is a leverage situation for a guy like Lincoln Riley. I don't think he would leave for LSU, but it could allow him to get what he wants. 
   
• This would be right up Lane Kiffin's alley. Not saying he would do that, but I don't think LSU wants the drama that comes with him. He's the wild-card for LSU. They know Kiffin's a flight risk at Ole Miss, but he's done a lot already for the Rebels. 
   
• You have to deal with injuries and inconsistencies in the SEC. Look at the Arkansas game. They have started to fall off and struggle. Everyone is dealing with injuries and a tough schedule. A&M would rather have Arkansas right now. It's all about timing.
   
• I'm excited about this weekend's matchup in Aggieland. They have a 24-year-old graduate assistant quarterback who led a game-winning drive last weekend. This is a story that only college football provides. This will be a good game for A&M. They have a chance to get their second straight convincing win. 
   
• Quite frankly, I thought it was stupid what Tennesse fans did. I've never seen anything like that, they had the cheerleaders, dance team, and the band evacuate the field. Tennesse had a chance to win that game as well. I was disappointed with what happened.  
   
• Matt Corral is a legit Heisman candidate. He carried it 33 times last weekend. He is legit, and they are banged up, but they are in good shape. They are running the new Iowa State defense with six defensive backs, and it's been working for them.
   
• Alabama is back on track. Everyone knew they would come together and figure it out. Bryce Young is wise beyond his years. I don't doubt Nick Saban or the process for Alabama.
