Well that's definitely one way to win a series. Man, emphatic. Exactly what they needed. Being at home, 3rd straight rubber match in a row in conference play... Really crucial to pick that one up. Great all around win- kudos to our guys, they weren't going to be denied in this one.

Dallas was good as usual. Almost "ho hum" for him, which is a way to say that he is typically always this reliable.... And yesterday was no different. Phenomenal job holding down the top of Kentucky's lineup. Their starting 1-5 hitters were 0-19 combined. Yeah, that'll usually add up to a good start. The staff did an amazing job on Estep all series. Their major star and we pitched him so well... Actually the two big stars we've faced in conference, DiChiara & Estep, we've done a great job against them. Excellent work by Yeskie and our pitchers with that.

Targac, wow. 475 feet, are you kidding? I thought the 461 would be tough to top... Guess not. He has massive power especially from the left side. Just a true sophomore, think he's going to have a big season next year. Loud tools. Rock, just insane how good a hitter he is... Constantly finds the barrel. So tough to pitch to. Unreal consistency this year. Nice to see Kaler with the long triple late... Maybe that will start a little XBH spree for him. Overall obviously an outstanding performance for the offense, completely taking any doubt out of this one. Big time showing.

Maybe a little sloppiness still on defense at times... The errors are slightly concerning. Could cost them more against the highest echelon teams in this league. Hope they can clean that up a bit still. But man just a resounding win and it was exactly what they needed moving forward. They're in a good spot with lots of great opportunities remaining on the schedule... It will be tough yes, but these guys have impressed with their resilience and the talent is there. Keep evolving and competing... Take care of business against Corpus, can't take that lightly on the road, I'm sure CC will show up inspired to try to grab an upset.
