Re the Sooner hysteria over Hicks' commitment to A&M (at the 21 minute mark): this ain't new stuff. In particular, Hunter points out "Sooner adults" saying the most ugly things to an 18 yr old for making up his mind that does not favor OU.

Almost 20 years ago, A&M took a legacy WR, Jeff Fuller, who had been courted big-time by Oklahoma for a long time. Yet, Jeff picked the school his NFL dad attended. Jeff ended up being more an adult than the folks he had been talking to in Norman... specifically, an assistant coach by the name of Brent Venables. (But there were others.) Venables acted like a child to Fuller's adult conversation.

So, nothing new here.

Re Matt's comment about Max Johnson being a good game manager (29 min mark), Corey Pulig was supposedly a "good game manager." Look what he accomplished.

Personally, I think Max has been ranging-in, "calibrating" the WRs. Saturday in Starkville, I think we will see him start to "fire for effect." A lot!
