TexAgs' recruiting analyst Ryan Brauninger joined TexAgs Radio on Wednesday morning for another edition of Recruiting Country, highlighting the latest news and notes from the recruiting trail surrounding Texas A&M.
I don't see that but you could be right. There was a lot of pressure to win last year after a sub par year and we did even worse than the year before. This year I think fans realize we lost a lot of players to transfer but on the plus side we had very few Seniors still around to be lost to graduation, if you can call that a plus. I expect a few more wins and a bowl game but don't think we will be in the running for a conference championship.TX_Aggie37 said:
More pressure to win this season than I can ever recall, and for a lot of different reasons. We'll see how it goes.
There was ZERO pressure to win last year. 8-4 would have done nothing. Even 7-5 would have been chalked up to injuries. There would have been zero movement in the coaching staff. Zero further pressure turned up. Recruiting likely stayed on track. Business as usual for the 2022 class to win big in 2023/2024. But we didn't go 7-5 or 8-4. We went 5-7, which fast tracked everything in terms of our programs need to win now.laruejd said:I don't see that but you could be right.
