The Texas Aggie football team kicks off the 2023 season against the University of New Mexico Lobos in what is expected to be a steamy Kyle Field on Saturday evening.

The Lobos have never been a powerhouse in Albuquerque, but we can safely say that — even by their standards — the program is in a deep funk, finishing 2-10 in 2022 and winless in the Mountain West.
