G Guerrieri & Co. eye SEC West title with one home match remaining

Texas A&M soccer is nearing the end of the regular season, with just one more home match at Ellis Field. G Guerrieri joined Wednesday's edition of TexAgs Radio to preview their final home conference test on Thursday against South Carolina.

• We've got a big game ahead of us. It's an exciting time. 
   
• We are in first place in the SEC West. We are in full position to get the one seed in the tournament. The game is on Thursday. South Carolina only has one loss on the season. They have only had eight goals scored on them. They have big-time goal-scorers up front. They are a polished, gritty team. We are only focused on the game on Thursday. Getting three points at home would be huge for us. 
   
• The fight of the team has been outstanding. To survive the SEC, you have to fight. We saw that against Alabama at Ellis Field. We monitor everything we do, and there were a lot of record outputs in that game. Our young backline has been great. Kenna Caldwell and seven other seniors will be highlighted before the match. There are a lot of things in our favor. We need the 12th Man out there.
   
• This would be another top-40 win for us which the NCAA Tournament committee loves. South Carolina has only lost to UNC early in the year. This I exactly the kind of resume builder we want. 
   
• This Thursday could be the last chance you have to see this group out there. You never know with the NCAA Tournament where you will play. This is your opportunity, and this is a great group. It's Texas A&M fighting for another championship. These women are fighting for us.
