* Going into his senior year at A&M, he knew that he was going to have to be the Friday night guy. His mindset every Friday night was to do what he could to give his team the best opportunity to win the game. He definitely wanted to be held accountable for that which helped him have a successful senior season.

* Coach Childress helped him learn how to use his big body to his advantage during his time at A&M.
