2025 Cocoa (FL) quarterback Brady Hart commits to Texas A&M

Texas A&M has made an addition to their 2025 recruiting class, and it comes in the form of quarterback Brady Hart‍ out of Cocoa, Florida.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pounder recently reclassified from the class of 2026 and saw his name become a hot commodity once that news went public. He comes into the fold after Mike Elko and the Aggie coaching staff scoured the state of Texas and the country for a signal-caller once a need at the position arose following the decommitment of Husan Longstreet‍ in late November.

A longtime Michigan commit, Hart also held offers from the likes of Clemson, Florida State, Louisville, Florida, Ohio State, LSU and many more.

On tape, it's easy to see why Hart was considered one of the top overall prospects in the Sunshine State. He has an intriguing combination of size, athleticism and arm talent. There's an advanced feel for pocket awareness and mobility to go along with real confidence in throwing the ball vertically down the field. The throwing motion looks efficient as all the parts sync up consistently. The touch and overall arm strength are also clearly on the elite level.

You can view the tape below.

Hart becomes Texas A&M's 22nd member of the class and signifies a national recruiting win very late in the cycle.

Stay tuned. There's more to come for our TexAgs Premium subscribers.

Nice! We got our HS QB. Now we need to see what happens in our QB room this offseason to see if we make another move.

Makes sense since Michigan poached LSU's QB commit that other Michigan QB commits might look around.

Love that offer list!

A 6'-5" mobile QB with arm talent and great pocket awareness? Sign me up.

Great offer list too.

True pocket passer, okay feet, longer release but quick elbow motion. Classed up from 2026 so likely a bit of a project. Similar tools to O'Neill, need to get more talent at WR to utilize the talents of those QBs.

Brauny, the 2025 commits list for A&M has at least 20 check marks for early enrollment. I don't recall that many in any recent class. Is it fair to say that's a priority for Elko and staff?

Or is that the situation across the landscape with players wanting to score some NIL money before the rules change?

Per ESipN (good write up, btw) this kid is 16. Yes. Talented? Yes, and quite precocious. Nice pickup but kind of a project?

It's clear Weigman & Henderson will at least be gone. So the only question is do you go get an elite QB from the portal, or risk another season with Reed.. because it's unlikely a backup QB will transfer to A&M to ride the bench until Reed's hurt.

Wonder about his scrambling/running skills. Saw only one, about 2/3 thru the videos - it was minimal.

At 6-4 and 180 pounds he needs to stay in the pocket.
He takes off running and gets hit by a head hunting SEC linebacker he might break in half.
Get some weight on this boy!

Brady will gain the "freshman 15" + 5-10# more before he gets any actual playing time.
Might even gain an extra inch or 2 in height since he is still only 16 years old.
