No. 20 Texas A&M sank to 8-4 on the season with a 17-7 loss to No. 3 Texas on Saturday night in front of 109,000 at Kyle Field. Following the game, Mike Elko, Taurean York and Marcel Reed addressed the media to discuss the rivalry week defeat.

Can we stop parading Taurean York around like some kind of leader? He's beyond atrocious. Tackling air all season long. He's one of the gigantic problems on this defense.

This game was lost on the line of scrimmage. We were dominated the entire game, offensively and defensively. Outclassed,outcoached, and outplayed. Should be interviewing our lineman, not the poor souls who have to play behind them. Total waste of good food,money, and space.

I'm pretty sure Elko and Klein will be having some discussions the next couple of days. Klein will either show him he can make changes or Klein and Elko both might decide his offense is not cut out for the SEC.

I still have faith in this man to be a great leader and skipper, but he needs to clean house. If Klein remains the OC for next, they've lost me for the 25-26 season. I can't take another year of watching, Jimbo was LESS predictable than that..

We ran up the middle 4 times. Twice on 3 and short and twice on 4 and short. Got stuff all 4 times. Then you add on the fact that we got stonewalled in the same situations multiple times against SC, it just makes it a BRAIN DEAD play call. We pay these morons millions and that is the best they can come up with on 4 and 1????

Add on the fact that we decided twice to not take the points and kick field goals in scoring position, just baffles me. Especially the last attempt where we needed 10 points anyway.

These things have really made me lose faith in Elko, you can't be a good coach and just make that many stupid decisions.

I thought so too but just too many stupid game management decisions against both SC and tu. Maybe he will be our Sherman and get the program physically right but yet we still lose games dues to brain dead play calling and game management

The definition of stupidity is doing the same wrong things over and over and over and NOT correcting them. OC has no creativity, no imagination and no balls. If he runs a play action on 3rd down on either one of those ultimate failed 4th down plays we are up 21-17 and maybe win the game. Teasips had 9 guys stacked on the line in both instances and OC just played right to their defense stack. Hell if he RPO's on 3rd and goal he walks into the end zone on the left side. Same thing on the 10 yard line. If all they could come up with after a F'ing TO was a run off guard and Elko agreed to that call then fire all their asses. That is just straight up bad coaching. OC needs to be fired. Bland offense all season with no creativity or imagination. If that is what we wanted we should have just kept Jimbo. Looked just like his dumb ass plain offensive scheme. We did the same sh*# against SC and Auburn with the same results and the same losses that could have been avoided. How many times did we run on first down and for short or no gain and get behind the sticks. We were so predictable a HS DC could scheme against us. Lost 3/4 down the stretch because of the OC and a defensive line (supposed to be one of the best) letting people run over us!!! Same old crap. We have all the talent you can buy and no coaching.

Maybe Elko should call the Eagles coach and figure out how to run that highly complicated "kush push" play!! With 2 DOWNS to make less than a yard just QB sneak TWICE!

Or maybe get your mobile qb rolled out on a rpo. Stress the defense just a tad. Or put Bussey in direct snap and let him try to create with space instead of diving head first into the belly of the defense.
