• Texas did everything to give A&M that game. Here is a blocked punt. Here’s an interception. In the South Carolina game, in the second half, you thought A&M would go down, score and flip the script. It never quite happened. 
   
• At the end of the day, if you look at where we are at the beginning of the year? 8-4 was on the good side of my prediction. We lacked in a lot of areas we discussed all year long. We are a good football team, but not a great one. Injuries added up. Losing Le’Veon Moss was tough. Chase Bisontis was dinged up.
   
• I still don't think it's a bad year. It's a phenomenal job on Mike Elko’s part. I like Mike Elko. We have a long way to go, and we need to get there quickly. 
   
• I think that is the difference between good and great football teams. They find ways to win. Missing tackles and not making catches is the difference. He put this team in a position to succeed. I don’t think we could say that in years past.
   
• They could have been in the College Football Playoff. The receiver position would be the one I would point to. We did not have a playmaker. Moss is a great football player. Who is the guy who can change the game? You have to have speed. These College Football Playoff teams have speed. I think that is a missing link. 
   
• I am shocked bowl games still exist. Who is playing? You know why guys sit out. Who is transferring and who had the most depth? Coaches want the 15 extra practices. Something has to change. Does this game even matter? The record feels different, but that will not be your football team next year. 
   
• Buy, Sell, Lease: A pro coach to lead the college football program? Bill Belichick, Mike Tomlin or Sean McVay. That's a great list. I am buying Sean McVay. I have a man crush on him because of his offensive mind. I will lease Tomlin. I have heard great things about him through Jamie McCoy. With Bill Belichick, there is an age factor. College is a different game. There is nothing soft about the way he coaches.
   
• Contrary to popular belief, I sat down with Bill in New England. I was shocked at what a nice, charismatic person he was.
