* It’s been great watching Johnny Manziel have success so far this year, but it was a lot more fun when Manziel was playing for him and he benefitted from Manziel’s athleticism.

* Nothing Manziel does surprises him anymore. He is a great competitor and a great kid and has whatever “it” is.

* Manziel has improved his patience in the pocket since playing at Kerrville Tivy.
