Around Aggieland (12/27)
Time to go bowling! On Friday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as 2024 comes to a close. Football takes on USC in the Vegas Bowl, men's basketball concludes its non-conference slate and more.
Football
A chance for a nine-win season awaits the Aggies in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl tonight against USC. That is a 9:30 p.m. CT kickoff on ESPN.
Men’s Basketball
No. 13 Texas A&M will put a bow on its treacherous non-conference slate with Abilene Christian on Saturday, Dec. 28. That is at 3 p.m. on SEC Network.
Saturday serves as a Q4 opportunity. A&M currently boasts a 4-0 record there. Plenty of stiff SEC competition is right around the corner. Every singe SEC team is a Q1 or Q2 game right now. The Aggies had five Q3 or Q4 SEC games last year.
Women’s Basketball
Joni Taylor’s Aggies will begin Southeastern Conference after the New Year play on Jan. 2 against No. 18 Tennessee (9-0).
They finished the non-conference season at 7-5, sitting at No. 14 in the conference.
