Favorites Beware: Trap games litter landscape in Week 7

Mention “traps” to many college football players and they may immediately think of the trapezius muscles, that bulging mass of sinew formed at the shoulders and neck that shows how much more physically developed they are than the rest of us.

Or, perhaps they would think of the “trap play,” in which an unaware defensive linemen typically gets blindsided by a guard or tackle.
