2026 Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic DT Jermaine Kinsler commits to Texas A&M

Mike Elko and Texas A&M are keeping the ball rolling with another big commitment as the Aggies dig into the talent-rich Northeast for Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic standout defensive lineman Jermaine Kinsler‍.

At 6-foot-7 and 270 pounds, Kinsler is a uniquely athletic presence in the trenches with the capabilities to play up and down the line. A big framed standout for one of the top programs in the northeast, Kinsler has also been a playmaker at tight end.

He becomes the Aggies’ ninth commitment of the 2026 recruiting class and the third commitment along the defensive front, joining Trashawn Ruffin‍ and Jordan Carter‍.

The Aggies offered last July, and since then, Kinsler has taken a few trips to Aggieland. He was in town for the 2024 season opener as the Aggies hosted Notre Dame, and he returned for Junior Day in January.

Good, solid DL class so far to follow up a good 2025 haul.

Ruffin is your likely nose of the class. Hope he can be about 6-3 320 in time. He's listed at 6-3 307 right now.

Carter is a guy that can probably play both end spots, similar to what Clemons did in his time here. 6-4 235. Could see him playing anywhere from 250 to 275 really. Lots of variables there.

Kinsler can probably play 5 and 3 tech. Bet he ends up a 6-6+280-290 pound edge setter who can also slide inside, similar to what Keke or Leal did from 2018-2021.
