If a divorced woman becomes successful on her own, does that somehow reflect well on her ex-husband?
Um … probably not.
Yet, some would disagree. They’d maintain that her accomplishments validate the ex-husband because … well, just because they were once married?
Yeah, that worked out well for Ike Turner.
Apparently, proponents of Big 12 Conference football aren’t familiar with the Ike and Tina Turner story. They seem to think a guy looks better if his ex-wife becomes a trophy bride for a rich guy.
