Stalled traffic can often cause frustration for those on the road.
On Friday, it caused Trisha Ford's No. 1 Aggies to suffer a frustrating 9-1 run-rule loss in Columbia, Missouri.
Stranding 10 runners, Texas A&M failed to ever find the timely hit, as Missouri salvaged the series finale.
From the jump, the Aggies had a hard time quieting Missouri's loud bats.
A less-than-ideal first frame kicked off a forgettable five-inning affair.
On Emily Leavitt's second pitch of the game, Missouri's Emily Crenshaw laced a solo home run to left field. More damage soon followed.
With two on base via a double and a walk, Leavitt gave up a three-run bomb to Kara Daly, increasing the Tiger lead, 4-0.

A&M's offense appeared stagnant through the first two innings, but after a pair of comeback victories on Thursday, the Aggies weren't out of it just yet.
A&M attempted to chip away at the deficit in the third as an RBI single from Mac Barbara plated one. A bunt from Koko Wooley loaded the bases with no outs, yet the Aggies failed to push another run across.
Relieving Leavitt after one inning of work, Sydney Lessentine gave up two more runs in the bottom half of the frame. Missouri's Madison Walker responded with a solo shot, and Daly's great day at the plate continued with an RBI double.
Kramer Eschete's leadoff single in the fourth ended Cierra Harrison's day in the circle, as she gave up six hits and just one run.
With two on and nobody out, A&M was shut down as Marissa McCann went to work. The Missouri lefty retired the red-hot Amari Harper and sluggers Mya Perez and Barbara to follow.
The Maroon & White hit an anemic .188 with runners in scoring position and went 0-for-4 as a team with the bases loaded. On the flip side, the Tigers hit a scorching .478 off A&M pitching.
Ford made the decision to go to freshman Kate Munnerlyn, who held the Tigers scoreless in the fourth, but the fifth got out of hand.
With the score sitting at 6-1 entering the fifth, a two-out, two-run homer from Missouri's Kayley Lenger stretched the gap. Stefania Abruscato's RBI single pushed the lead to eight after five as the run-rule took effect.
Despite Friday's disappointing result, the Aggies' double dip of Missouri on Thursday allowed the Maroon & White to claim their fifth straight SEC series.
With one final midweek contest remaining in Louisiana on Tuesday, Ford & Co. must steer clear of bumps in the road in their pursuit of a Women's College World Series berth.
Too much stalled traffic might’ve halted the Aggies' 14-game heater, but top-ranked A&M aims to find the accelerator again beginning on Tuesday.
