2026 Spring Valley (CA) Mount Miguel ATH Brandon Arrington commits to A&M
The 2026 momentum continues to build for the Texas A&M Aggies, and once again, Mike Elko and his staff show their ability to tap into the talent-rich West Coast for one of California’s finest.
Spring Valley (CA) Mount Miguel athlete Brandon Arrington checks in at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds with elite track speed, and he has given his verbal commitment to the Maroon & White.
Nicknamed “Dash,” Arrington has posted personal bests of 10.21 in the 100m and 20.35 in the 200m. In February, he posted meet records of 6.67 in the 60m and 15.26 in the 150m at the California Winter state championships.
He is listed as an athlete for his dynamic playmaking ability on offense, defense and special teams. Cornerbacks coach Jordan Peterson has led the Aggies’ recruiting efforts, with his speed, length and athleticism, making him one of the top lockdown defenders in the country.
Over the course of the recruiting process, Arrington received scholarship offers from across the country, and on decision day, he chose the Aggies over the Oregon Ducks.
He becomes the Aggies’ 18th commitment of the 2026 recruiting class, and he joins LB Samu Moala, TE Caleb Tafua and WR Madden Williams as California prospects in the class. He is also the fourth defensive back in the class, joining Victor Singleton, Camren Hamiel and Chance Collins.
