WBB National Signing Day - Jada Terry
Yesterday, the Lady Ags received a signed Letter of Intent from the top ranked post player in the state of Texas, Jada Terry.
School: Cedar Hill
Gary Blair on his incoming freshman: “We recruited for need this year, and only looked at post players that where versatile enough to play both post positions for us. Jada Terry fits that bill and has a tremendous upside. She is the best senior post in the state and plays for Cedar Hill where former Aggie Skylar Collins also attended."

Terry is considered one of the top 10 recruits in the nation and the top post player in the state of Texas. Every scouting report on this young lady has raved about her size, strength and athleticism. She makes her trip to College Station by way of Cedar Hill high school, where she has completed dominated all of her competition. Originally a Texas Longhorn commit, Jada decided to change her mind about her future when Gail Goestenkors left the Lady Horn program. Gary Blair has been the beneficiary of two highly ranked recruits - in back-to-back years - that have landed in College Station because they knew Austin wasn't the place for them. Terry chose the Aggies over Oklahoma State, Louisville, Kentucky, South Carolina, Missouri and Kansas.
Strengths: Strong, athletic and aggressive which is a great combination for a post player. Terry has a good work ethic that will help continue her success at the next level. She loves contact and thrives on making plays. She is a good rebounder at both ends of the floor and gets good position on the block. A work horse that isn't afraid to mix it up - one of the top players in the state.
Room for improvement: Terry is bigger, stronger and faster than everyone right now, so she will need to learn to adjust to better competition. She is very skilled, but can use some fine tuning to her game. She has to continue to develop her low post scoring - she's great when she can bury her defender under the basket - and get comfortable with a go to move on the block. Conditioning will be huge as she prepares for a fast-paced offense at Texas A&M.
