No. 10 Marcel Reed, Quarterback: A&M opted to focus on its passing game in the season-opening victory over UTSA. Reed demonstrated that was a wise strategy. Reed threw a career-high four touchdown passes. He completed 22 of his 34 passes for 289 yards. Dating back to last season, it was the fourth time in five games that he has thrown for more than 250 yards and has multiple touchdown passes. Reed also led the Aggies with 39 rushing yards on eight carries.
