Highlights: Sachse capitalizes early to defeat Lakeview Centennial

Thursday night in Garland, the Sachse Mustangs hosted the Lakeview Centennial Patriots for a district match-up in Homer B. Johnson Stadium. The Mustangs took advantage of some early Patriot penalties and mistakes and built a 17-0 first-half lead.

In the second half, the Patriots grabbed momentum as they marched down the field for a touchdown on the opening drive. From there, the back and forth continued into the final minutes before Sachse was able to seal the 17-14 win.
