Aggies fall to Billikens in KC, 70-49

KANSAS CITY — Texas A&M suffered its first loss of the young season Monday night when the St. Louis Billikens used a stingy defense to beat the Aggies, 70-49, at the CBE Hall of Fame Classic at the Sprint Center.

St. Louis improved to 2-1 and will meet Kansas in the championship game Tuesday night. The 7th ranked Jayhawks dominated Washington State, 78-41, in the late game Monday. A&M will face Washington State at 6 p.m. in the consolation finals.
