• After seeing what the Texas A&M defense did to Auburn last Saturday, it was tough to imagine Mike Elko’s group finding a way to top that performance seven days later against what looked like a much more dangerous Jeff Lebby-coached offense at Mississippi State.

Somehow, the Aggies took it to another level in a 31-9 win over the Bulldogs, the program’s first time to hold an SEC opponent under 10 points for the first time since 2021.
