Excuse me for not knowing, but do you still build the fire now-a-days? If you do, I take it that it is off campus? Pretty cool thing to watch and I thought it was a mistake to stop it. I would have preferred it to be evaluated and correct any issues, but keep doing it as folks like me who do not closely follow A&M thought it was fun to watch, and added to the college football landscape..

The current building standards have been evaluated by professional engineering firms and are designed to be safer than those used in on-campus bonfires.

They should have a webcam broadcast of the bonfire burning for those that live too far away to attend. You could even charge money to access the live feed. (I'd pay it). Just a thought.

Bonfire was fantastic. I took my three boys to their first burn, and they loved it. It was convenient to get to, and easy to find. Great job to all who cut, stacked and supported!
