Acquisition of Manning is massive on many levels

Since arriving in Aggieland almos one year ago, Kevin Sumlin has talked openly about “upgrading the profile” in the front seven.

He wanted bigger, faster and more athletic guys in the defensive trenches. You know … the same prospects that are coveted by every power program in the country. He wanted lots of them. Quickly.  

The head coach never said it would be easy, but he and his staff sure are making it look that way.
