Texas A&M Basketball
* Reminds the listeners of his story. Didn't get recruited out of high school but played at UT Dallas his freshman year. Enrolled at A&M as a student and tried to walk onto the basketball team his sophomore year. Didn't make it onto the team until his senior year and played until the end of his eligibility.
* Talks about his intramural team. Says his intramural team, The Bill Waltons, was the best intramural team of all time. Claims he wasn't the best player and his team was stacked with good players.
* Talks about the 2005 NIT tournament. NIT tournament games very rarely have a big crowd but that year the arenas were packed and loud.
* The best moments were after victories and getting to celebrate with the team and coaching staff
* Talks about the game against Texas March 1, 2006 that ended A&M 46, Texas 43. Gave up a layup that almost ruined the game because the game was low scoring. Team pulled it out and the crowd stormed the court. States that storming the court may be deemed dangerous but that it is an amazing rush and makes the experience memorable.
* The ability to endure all the difficulties faced came from his faith.
* Met Jarod Jahns at an FCA banquet and got to talk with him.
* Hasn't had a chance to talk to former Coach Billy Gillispie.
