“Brett’s obviously a really good football player, but he’s a better person. On the field he was our quarterback on defense. He called out fronts, our movements, and he was just a leader on the defensive side of the ball. He was an All-District and All-State performer over the years for us. He’s a student of the game. He studied a lot of film. He was very easy to coach, and very open to coaching.
