Nashville – The finger was broken but Texas A&M’s precarious postseason hopes remained intact Wednesday night.
Elston Turner, playing with a splint on a broken left little finger, scored 22 points and teamed with Alex Caruso and Fabyon Harris to convert some clutch free throws down the stretch, lifting Texas A&M to a 71-62 victory over Auburn in the first round of the Southeastern Conference basketball tournament at the Bridgestone Arena.
