Starting pitcher Rafael Pineda hurled a gem on Sunday and the Texas A&M baseball team prevented an Auburn sweep, edging the Tigers, 4-1, at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
The experienced Pineda seemed back to his usual Sunday-start form, allowing one run, seven hits and one walk through 7.2 innings pitched.
