During Friday's edition of TexAgs Radio, departing senior Mark French joined to discuss his final season with Texas A&M basketball as well as share a player perspective on the coronavirus' shutdown of the 2020 SEC Basketball Tournament.

Two months ago no one imagined Texas A&M could reach a postseason tournament, but as the Aggies enter their regular-season finale, they're knocking on the door of the NIT. A win on Saturday might secure a postseason berth.

Coming off their biggest win of the 2019-2020 season on Wednesday night, Texas A&M basketball must now focus on the Arkansas Razorbacks as the Ags close out the regular season. Buzz Williams, Wendell Mitchell, Mark French and Josh Nebo spoke to the media after of Saturday's game.

Head coach Buzz Williams, along with players Jonathan Aku and Mark French, met with the media to discuss the effects of longer practice time, as well as their upcoming match-up against Oregon State.

The A&M men's basketball team dropped their second consecutive game of the Orlando Invitational Tournament on Friday afternoon. Temple outscored the Aggies 32-18 in the first half en route to a victory over the Aggies.

During Thursday's edition of TexAgs Radio, Dr. John Thornton joined the show for some A&M basketball talk, including a recap of last night's Aggie win over Troy. Thornton also shared his thoughts on Buzz Williams' decision to not go into the locker room at halftime.

Despite not knowing he'd be thrust into a starting spot until five minutes before tip, former walk-on guard Mark French helped guide the Aggies to a close win over Troy on Wednesday night. French's 12 points, including a couple of key plays, helped see the A&M victory.

The Troy Trojans dealt A&M all they could handle on Wednesday night as the Aggies barely squeaked by with a 56-52 win in come-from-behind fashion. Buzz Williams, Mark French and Josh Nebo spoke to the media following the game.

The Aggies ended regular season play Saturday losing to Mississippi State in Starkville, unable to recover from a 46-34 halftime deficit and a barrage of State three-pointers. A&m now turns its attention to Vanderbilt, who they will face in the first round of the SEC Tournament on Wednesday.

Wendell Mitchell led an impressive second-half effort for the Aggies on Saturday night, scoring 22 points in the second half after sitting much of the first with two early fouls. A&M's comeback win creates momentum for a week that brings #25 LSU and #1 UT to Reed Arena.
