NCAA Tournament action returns to Reed Arena on Friday afternoon
For the first time since 2019, Reed Arena will host the NCAA Tournament as postseason volleyball has returned to Aggieland. On Friday night, Texas A&M and Campbell will battle in the first round, and on Saturday, the victory will face either TCU or Stephen F. Austin.
There is optimism that A&M can fix prevalent 'missed fits' vs. the run
For a Texas A&M run defense that has been pretty stout for much of the season, the Aggies' inability to prevent long runs again reared its ugly head against Texas. If Mike Elko & Co. can find fast improvement in this area, the Maroon & White might make a long run in the CFP.
