A&M baseball moved across the tracks to Olsen Field in 1978, and the new ballpark provided Derrick "D.D." Grubbs a blank canvas with which to work. From the PA booth at Olsen, Grubbs helped build many of the traditions and much of the atmosphere that still exists today.
