For the first time in his career, Tyrece Radford has earned Southeastern Conference Player of the Week honors after guiding Texas A&M to wins over Missouri and ranked Tennessee. Leading the Aggies in scoring, the Baton Rouge native recorded 49 points on the week.

At Thursday's NFL Honors in Las Vegas, former Texas A&M All-American and current Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year. The 2017 first-overall pick had 14.0 sacks, 17 TFLs, four forced fumbles and 42 total tackles in 2023.

After committing to the Aggies on Sept. 28, 2023, Timpson five-star ATH Terry Bussey made it official on Wednesday morning and signed with Texas A&M. The Maroon & White officially landed Bussey after a late push from LSU and Georgia.

As the third commit of the 2025 class, Katy Paetow cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway is leading way and has announced his verbal commitment for Mike Elko & Co. The brother of A&M linebacker Daymion Sanford, Pettaway chose A&M over LSU, Ole Miss and Oklahoma.

Texas A&M added another piece to its 2025 class as linebacker Kelvion Riggins announced his pledge to the Aggies. Riggins choose the Maroon & White over the likes of Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas and USC.

Texas A&M has added to its 2024 class with the verbal pledge of Collierville (TN) offensive lineman Robert Bourdon. After previously being committed to Duke, Bourdon chooses the Aggies over the Blue Devils as well as Florida State, Louisville, Stanford, Kentucky and Ole Miss.

In just a month and a half as the new head coach of the Texas A&M football team, Mike Elko has done an excellent job reloading and retaining the roster. As Elko continues to make waves, fans all over Aggieland are excited for the future of the Maroon & White on the gridiron.

Mike Elko & Co. have made another major addition from the transfer portal as former Alabama cornerback Desmond Ricks has announced his plans to join A&M next season. Once a five-star prospect, Ricks played two games for the Tide and arrives as a redshirt freshman.

Ross Bjork, Texas A&M Director of Athletics since 2019, has been hired by Ohio State University in a similar role. Now moving to the Big Ten, Bjork brought in Mike Elko, Jim Schlossnagle, Joni Taylor, Trisha Ford and Gerrod Chadwell among others to College Station during his tenure.

Not too long ago, Texas A&M was ranked as high as No. 12 in the AP poll, but after losses to LSU and Auburn, the Aggies were in danger of falling out of the SEC race. However, on Saturday, A&M pulled off the upset of No. 6 Kentucky in overtime, 97-92.
