No. 2 Texas A&M jumped on top-ranked LSU for four runs in the top of the third inning and held on for a 6-2 victory in game three at Alex Box Stadium. David Sandhop shares his thoughts on the Aggie win.

After sleeping on an 8-3 lead, A&M came into Sunday looking to clinch another SEC series. After allowing six runs in the final three innings, five in the eighth alone, A&M will need to win the seven inning rubber match.

The top-ranked Aggies held an 8-3 lead overnight in a weather-suspended game that picked up Sunday at noon in the 7th inning. From there, it was all Hogs, who scored five late runs to even the series at 1-1.

Still the nation's top team, the Aggies nonetheless must shore up certain areas to maintain their momentum against a surging Razorbacks team. All eyes may fall on Saturday to swing a key SEC West series.

For just the second home game of the season, A&M failed to come out victorious. While a home run from Logan Taylor and an early RBI from Michael Barash gave the Aggies a chance, the Bulldogs prevailed.

Nothing has stopped the Aggies yet, but to keep pace they'll have to ensure that the struggling Bulldogs don't either. Another SEC series will be decided by the arms and A&M's ability to continue playing to its strengths.
