if i wasn't worried about my boss finding out how much time i spend on texags, i would let you know who i was and make you look like an idiot for assuming that you are the only one on here with college tennis experience. i am sure a lot of the other posters here could say the same thing.

btw, conor lost in 3 in the next round. still a respectable result in one of the toughest tournaments of the year.

hhahahahhaha...Like a give a **** who you are?? You think I am impressed come tough guy out yourself let me know who you are. And I won't be impressed if you're the towel boy!!! hahahha camden creek!!!

You could be Boris Becker for all I can still doesn't negate the fact that Indoor tennis is a great equalizer. Hence there are no grand slams played on indoor courts the masters is sometimes. Its so funny I simply made an accurate statment and you start saying you know who I am and calling me an idiot. So nut up and speak up tough guy.

what do you mean "oh NOW i agree with you?" i agreed with you in my first post on this thread. can you even read? work on your comprehension buddy.

if you think i am worked up about this, you are even more dense than i thought...which i guess shouldn't surprise me, since your posts look like they were constructed by a 7 year old.

i am walking out the door to play golf. enjoy your saturday.

endecag is a troll. The kid writes like a 7th grader (and not a smart one) and is the world's foremost authority on tennis (in his own mind).

Indoor tennis is not "the great equalizer" - it it simply gives certain types of players an advantage. A great equalizer would be something like the three point line in basketball, that gives smaller teams a chance. It is an "equalizer" because without the three point line, a very big team and a small team would be very unequal. With the three point line, a small team with great shooters has a chance.

Indoor courts generally have faster surfaces, making them well-suited for the type of players who do well at Wimbledon (grass being another fast surface).

As most of you have seen at Wimbledon, fast fast surfaces favor big servers and serve-and-volley players as well as players with short, compact strokes (that are easier to execute with less reaction time). So big servers like Roddick and big returners with short strokes like Agassi.

Slow court surfaces (like clay and some very textured outdoor courts) favor baseline grinders like the Spaniards and So. Americans that do so well on clay. Guys like Michael Chang can thrive on slower surfaces because of their speed and consistent play.

Without knowing exactly what surface Connor was playing on, I can say that indoor surfaces are usually very, very fast (even faster than grass). The kind of players that generally do well indoors have big serves and big groundstrokes. The thing is, those players usually do well no matter what surface they're on!

It would be more accurate to say that clay (or slow surfaces) are the great equalizer, giving guys like Michael Chang or Guillermo Coria a chance against the big hitters.

The main problem I have with you, endecag, is not that you're a smarta$$ kid - I was once on of those too. I don't even mind the special ed level writing - I blame that on public education. The main problem I have is that an Ag (Connor) has done something that deserves positive recognition and once again all you can do is make snide or negative comments.

Maybe you should head back to hornfans.com

Yes, you're right as always, I'm retarded for having an opinion and backing it up with facts and you are awesome for bashing Aggies and Aggie coaches.

Just to make sure I have it right, things that are retarded acording to endecag include:

- Texas A&M and/or anyone who defends its student/athletes or coaches
- Anything related to the the correct usage of grammar, punctuation, or spelling
- Indoor courts
- Going to college

You forgot Harry Dunne and Bigfoot..

Lets get some things straight I went to collge aTm graduated in 2003 if all you've is grammar smack and that I didn't go to collge you're quite pathetic. Secondly, I didn't bash anyone I said indoor tennis is a great equalizer. Did I say anything about Connor's win? Your rant about tennis surfaces does not disprove the fact that indoor tennis gives the underdog a better chance. Thirdly, am I not allowed to have an opinion on Coach K 90 percent of the posters on that thread agreed with me. Just because you and your bf bigfoot are blind followers doesn't mean you're right. Did I miss anything Corky?

Actually this incorrect most successful basketball teams have a great front court presence. For example, Rockets with Hakeem, LA with Shaq, Miami with Shaq etc. Furthermore, prior to the 3 points line teams with a large center and pf always won, i.e. Chamberlien Jabar and so forth. The reason your feeble mind thinks the 3 point line is a great equalzier because you see perimeter team win a game by hitting three's but if you look at their overall season they won't go as far.

Indoor tennis is a great equalizer mentaliy as well as physcially. I'll take your example of Chang or a player of his mold. If he steps on court with Safin it can seem like he can match him power for power and still take advantage of his speed. Indoor tennis gives you the feeling you are wailing on the ball. Also as stated no heat or weather factors that would usually effect both players..So again indoor tennis is a great equalizer..Anything else?

Exactly. Now with the three point line, it is not only the teams with the dominant frontcourt that win ballgames. Hence it is the great equalizer. Thanks for proving my point and thanks for the unintentional comedy relief.

Yes, players with great serves and quick hands still do well on clay, but baseline grinders are given a LARGER advantage on clay, thus making it the great equalizer. Baseline grinders without big strokes do not gain an advantage indoors, so indoor tennis is not the great equalizer, it just makes the big hitters bigger.

Did I miss anything Corky?

Yeah, apparently you missed the point, but I figure you're probably used to that.

There is NO WAY that you graduated from Texas A&M.

Hey idiot what teams without a dominat front court have won anything. Thanks again for proving me point.

Keep telling yourself that you loser its all you've I have proved you wrong on everything. Its sad when thats all you've to fall back on. Its funny guys like you harry you played number eight on a Div III team and you think you know something about tennis. You attend these matches like church and get all caught up in it because you SUCKED in your own career. Then some coach invites you to meeting or a booster event and you feel like your part of the team hence the blind loyalty to medicore coach. Did I miss anything.

So which is big hitters can do well on clay but its a great equalizer riding both sides idiot? Also, people with smaller games do have a chance indoors hence its a great equalizer.

I doubt the guy even knows his own initials and he's definitely not going to have the balls to post them. He'll post some bogus ones if we prod him hard enough. Why don't you give us some details of your proud time as a student at Aggieland endecag. Did it involve failing out of Blinn? You know that going to A&M Consolidated high school doesn't qualify you as an Aggie, right?

Since we're such chumps for playing D3 tennis, why don't you tell us about your vast tennis experience. Did Bobby K send you home from summer camp because you wet your bed? Is that where all the animosity comes from? Please regale us with tales of your huge victory at line 4 over Bryan High school in '99.
