Ags are in the lead and could pick up two big wins this week

Basketball should be a great game here after getting back in the win column and women's swimming is on fire and should clock the horns over in Austin

I will try to watch the Ags against tu Saturday..... we will swamp them.

a few years ago it would have been unthinkable to beat the 'sips swimming in Austin.

After the basketball win, we are leading 3.5 to 2. It is fairly likely that there will be a split in mens' and womens' S&D. Then next up will be womens' basketball.

we're on pace for our best year yet in this thing...it was only two years ago that Texas was getting both swimming points...the soccer win this season has us a full point of last year when we were in it until the very end...we really have a chance at winning this thing this year

Texas' men's swimming will easily beat us. We should handily win the women's contest. I would be thrilled to win the overall Texas cup!

When Byrne masterminded the idea of the Long Star Shootout, the Austin American Statesman laughed at him and wrote an article that showed the scores if it had been in place the past 5 or so years. The scores were terrible.

I looked at it and said to myself that Byrne has balls and is willing to put his vision on the line and in a big scorecard for all to see.
