Yes, Jacobo was just a bit off his seed time, and I believe he was 18th, so very close both ways. You can't win them all.

Agreed. Much better place than almost anybody could have expected, especially after last year.

If the Ags can get Lavery in uniform and come up with a replacement for Ozzie they are going to be huge top 10 threats with Sehn back in the fold next year...

Also, a big kudos to Jay & Doug for having the foresight to redshirt Ozzie after being injured last year..That decision had an incredibly enormous impact on this year's NCAA finish (not to mention the A&M record books)...Great job all-around swimmers and coaches

Nice! Wasn't expecting such a high finish. Great seasons for the women and the men.

Lavery is a Jacobo-caliber breaststroker who is currently ineligible but in school (as is Balazs Makany who will be one of the Ags top freestylers in the fall)

you also have to remember that Denisyako is a signee from this year; the Ags were able to get him to come during the Xmas break and make an immediate impact; I'm sure there will be more signings as the year goes on...they usually announce their signings late in the summer

Much better finish overall than I expected a few months ago. Denisyako was huge, Ozzie was awesome, and some guys like Bersgstrom really improved.

Lavery hasnt quite lived up to his hype so far...his times from Summer Nationals & Sectionals this year are hardly "Jacobo-caliber"...hopefully he will continue to improve to that level though.

Balazs will add a huge punch to the 800 Relay next year...who knows, maybe the Ags can score all 5 relays next year.
