I would like to be at least 10 strokes ahead by the end of the day, but I would gladly take 8!

1 handicap. In today's game, when a par 5 is a 1 handicap (and I assume this course was re-rated when Nicklaus finished his changes), you KNOW it's tough. 2 under for us there is just good golf.

not making fun! but that pretty much eliminates his card for the day, puts a bit more pressure on the other 4. (they seem do be doing just fine though)

Louisville at E for the day now, but their yesterday's A player is off the board for today (+4). AND they're going into the toughest part of the back now.

I'm thinking you lay up to the water, then go right at the pin over the water, instead of hitting left...thoughts?

errr, 14 handicap here. That second shot has layup all over it for me.

Too short, and your either in the water or in what looks to be about 12" of rough!

I say the play would be to lay up for about a 100yd 3rd!

no question on in 2 is out....but do you lay up and go straight at it over the H2O, or do you hit a decent 2nd shot way left, taking the water out of it?

or does the water extend all the way over?

I think, at the level these guys play, a 100 yd shot over the water would be nothing!

I agree. For me, I'm 320 out after the drive anyway, so 7/8 iron to short of the water and then 6 to the left side of the green. Chip on and hope to make a put.

Keep an eye on the teams in the 14-19 range!

We need these guys to loose some strokes!
