Howdy: Question 1 - The Aggies played a Spring series last weekend in San Diego. They faced Washington, San Diego St, UCal San Diego, and the pro team San Diego Spirit. Can anyone out there in California tell us how our Aggies fared? Did we come through the weekend with everyone healthy?...Question 2 - I saw on the Soccer Buzz site where our Aggies signed a ninth player. Laura Probst. A midfielder from Arvada Colorado. Anyone from Colorado know about Laura Probst? ..Thanks in advance!

AG
I attended the games out here in Diego.
We tied U of Wash and SDSU both 1-1. We had 3X more shots on goal vs Wash, SDSU was more even game. The SD Spirit game on Sunday - we took the lead about 10 min into the match, Spirit came back and scored a goal about 10 min later and went on to win 4-1. HOWEVER COMMA the game was much closer than that score reveals, we were VERY physical against the WUSA Spirit (keep in mind that we were playing 14 players, fish, soph and juniors versus prolly 25 older/experienced Spirit players). They were due to cut four players from their roster Sun night, so they were playing for their livelihood. In no way were the Lady Ags intimidated, we gave them a good "run for their money"
The USD game Sun night wasn't played due to a lighting snafu. Thanks Lady Ags for the show of Aggie Spirit last weekend. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOP !

The soccer team beat the Klein Challenge club team 4-2 Tuesday night at the Aggie Soccer Complex. This is the team's only home game of the spring.

Next weekend they play Florida (final four team), Duke (NCAA playoff team), and Old Dominion in Fayettville, NC. The A&M assistants (Lori and Phil Stephenson) used to coach at methodist College in Fayettville, so it'll be a homecoming for them.

The soccer team is playing most of their games on the road because of constrction to the west campus facilities (soccer, track, and softball). I hope those will be done by the time the fall season starts.
