Push, shove, wrestle, hit, slap, trip.... this shiate is getting old. They need to go back to the old scoring system. The judges are idiots (not hitting the button) and the gloves aren't registering hits. It's a disservice to the sport if this is what it's become. Guys are getting solid punches in and they don't get any points. Just stupid. I'm a HUGE fan of boxing, and this is not the direction it needs to go in if they want to make it more popular. Of course, crooked judges isn't the answer either, but something needs to change from what it is now.

watched this a bit today. it was pretty pathetic. the commentators were pretty displeased as well. several punches were landed that were not rewarded. pretty boring to watch.

Well, at least the US is 3-1 in the first heat and has another one to go. Not too shabby.
