one of the guys i work with is getting married so a few of us went out the other night, and before hand had a few drinks at his place...the olympics were on and Phelps was swimming so we were all watching and cheering and such...then woman's gymnastics came on, and you shoulda heard some of the guys, it was hilarious...
everyone was all of a sudden gymnastics analyist experts...im talking guys who two weeks ago couldnt tell the parallel bars from a grill and bar are all watching intensely making comments like "oh she'll lose 0.3 tenths of a point for an improper dismount" or "their strongest competition is the balance beam but our vaults have greater diffuculty" to even "that was a hard dismount because when dismount like that you cant see the floor"
...it was freakin hilarious to see us all now 'experts' on everyone sports because of the olympics, i think its great.
