I seriously doubt the IOC will do any real investigating and that in the end, nothing will occur, but other than losing her individual golds, will the Chinese women's team be stripped of gold as well since she contributed to the gold they 'won'?

Just not sure how the rules work.

I sure hope the IOC gives this legitimate attention. I would assume the entire team would lose their medals. When Marion Jones was found to have used PEDs, the entire relay had to give up their golds. Cheating is cheating.

I thought the desperation not to embarrass the Chinese would keep the IOC from doing anything. However, now I'm at least starting to wonder if the IOC will at least grow a small pair of balls and do something - although drag their feet long enough so that nothing really happens until after the olympics is over. their foot-dragging has bought them quite a bit of time and now they are close to the end. i still think the chances of nothing happening are about 95%.

Wow! Their investigation lasted around 24 hours.

They had NCAA detectives on the case... easier to just "wrap it up"
