the players returning this year do not constitute a "strong returning team," and there is not a "good distribution in player classes." I don't dispute the premise you describe, but it doesn't presently apply to our program.
I agree...and nowhere in my post did I imply that I thought the above premise applied to our program. I was simply stating my opinion that the current state of our program (which we agree is not ideal) would not deter a prospective coach from coming to A&M.

Regarding your claim that BB would not send out feelers until LC is gone, you are not only dead wrong, but about nine months behind the times.
I don't claim to know in the least whether he has or not, but I have worked in D1 ahtletic administration and I know better than most how the average volleyball coaching hire is made.
While admitting my complete igorance on the specifics of this situation and therefore admitting that my claim is based 100% on speculation based on the average scenario, I can also say with some certainty that you also have no idea. In order to have access to this kind of information, you would have to have some friends in high places with loose lips...and if you did have this kind of "inside information" (and I'm talking about concrete info, not just speculation from one of your buddies that plays golf with Bill Byrne's secretary's husband) to prove the veracity of your claims, I would hope that you wouldn't be stupid enough to betray your friend's confidence and post this information on Texags.
...and if you believe that you came to know of this through Texags, then be assured that the information that you are passing off as the gospel truth is almost certainly conjecture
