Ryan Palmer won the next to last tour Event of 2008 the Ginn sur Mer Classic in Palm Coast Florida. His 2nd career win.

Big win for Ryan. He was borderline being Top 125 and earning his card back. Now he is solid and will have a tour card for next year. Nice shot in the arm for his career when it appeared his PGA days might be numbered.

Actually, this win locks up his card for the next two years (just like his Disney win did a few years ago).

I ran across an interesting stat. Guess who leads the PGA Tour in birdie average?

Our own Ryan Palmer with an average of 4.12 per round. John Huston is a distant second at 3.87.
