is swimming a fall or winter sport in high school?

i was wondering this b/c i wanted to know if an athlete could play football/swim or wrestle/swim. swimming workouts are some of the best out there!

HS wrestling has about the same schedule as swimming in Texas. Last year the state championships were on the same day.

Meets usually last from October to February of March depending on how far you kid makes it in the post season (Districts, Regionals, State). However, swimming is truly a year round sport and his team will probably have practice from the first day of school until the last day of school.
