A&M-Tennessee meet is today. #1 against #4.

It will be interesting to see if Jeneba Tarmoh runs against her old teammates. She has not participated in any meet for us yet. Neither has her fellow Californian Vashti Thomas.

Watch Lynne Layne (TN) in sprints. She is their best sprinter but we should still win the sprint races (60, 200, 400). Tennessee is very strong in the distance races, especially Sarah Bowman.

We should win the 4x400; they will easily win the medley relay. They are strong in the pole vault; we are strong in the long and triple jumps.

Their Celriece Law is very strong in the hurdles but our Gabby Mayo is also a good hurdler.

Their Annie Alexander is strong in the weights.

By far our most productive runner so far this year has been Gabby Mayo. She has already met the provisional qualification times in the 60m dash, the 60m hurdles, and is only 0.07 secs off the provisional time in the 200m dash. I believe that her best times in all three races this season are better than any of her times last season. An incredible start so early in the season for this amazing sophomore.
