Now that we know there's a few "celebrities" on this thread, I was interested to hear what you guys' team goals were this year? Either what you personally hoped for the team, or what you guys may have discussed.

Did you guys set a goal as far as placing at NC's, or number of qualifiers, or what?

I understand if that's something that's personal that you want to keep in the team, but I'm just really curious about where you guys were shooting for as a team at the beginning of the season, and if those goals have changed as a result of in-season performance.

My goal for the season is to get as many autographs as I can from the really fast swimmers at the meet. Also, I hope to steal a few speedos from some famous people.

Except for stealing speedos. Steal caps instead, they smell less like dudes' weiners.

I don't know much about diving, and I don't know if you do either, but how is Eric's training coming along?

Eric has been training hard. He has some good divers nipping at his heels. They all push each other to be better since they each want to be #1. Looks like a good deal for us.

Did he show a lot of improvement after his year off? Or was it kinda a bust since he didn't make the olympics?

Eric is Eric. Pretty sure he's already broken one of his records already this year so I forsee no dropoff so-to-speak.

With the addition of the kid from Australia and the new Canadian, I'd go so far as to say this is the strongest group of men's divers in school history.

In general, the team has historically not made any of their goals public.
Of course, they want to do well all year, but I don't think its a big secret that their goal as a team is solely NCAA's and their placement there.
At the beginning of the season I wasn't sure how they were going to do because they seemed to be awful slow. After looking over the roster and the additional personnel, however, (and knowing what the focus is), I think their goal SHOULD be to be better than last year at NCAA's.
How much better I'm not sure.
